I fall into warmth as I recall your hands on my shoulders, then sliding down to my waist… and all the best memories of you rush back to me. I am welcomed in again to breathe in bittersweet notes of chocolate mingled with pink pepper that stir my emotions, and I know this scent even blindfolded. As I am roused gently from my daydream, I realize the shallow crest of vanilla and jasmine that so often beckon me back to this place, and I revel in the sweet notes of brown sugar and amber that have an uncanny ability to put my soul at ease. Somewhere on the wind there is a subtle hum that always accompanies the smell of distant laurels I have so long loved, as I shamelessly beg you again to Call Me by Your Name.
